Alfa Romeo introduced the stunning 916 Spider just as it departed the U.S. market. For 25 years, it was not possible to drive one in the States, but now they can be legally imported. I bought mine in a Bring a Trailer auction in July 2025. This car has the rare 1.8-liter Twin Spark engine, and it lived in the Netherlands before it was imported by a New Jersey enthusiast. I have had my eye on this model since I first got into Alfas in the late 1990s and I even have a 1:18 model from that time in the same color.
